Karen Horne is honored to have her pastel painting accepted into “Pastels USA 2019,” a highly competitive juried international show organized by the Pastel Society of the West Coast. Its especially thrilling because not only will she join the company of some of the country (and world’s) finest pastel artists, her work is shown in the Haggin Museum, a Central Valley gem in Stockton, California. This museum has a remarkable permanent collection, including a cycle of Yosemite paintings by Albert Bierstadt. What an inspiring setting! The pastel painting from the ART OF DANCE® series, will be on view in the exhibit which runs May 16 – July 14, 2019.
