Many thanks to the major international magazine, Pastel Journal, for spotlighting Karen Horne’s vivid geranium painting “Going to Pot.” It appears in an article reviewing The Pastelworld 2024 Exhibition which took place at the (IAPS) International Association of Pastel Artists Convention in Albuquerque. “Going to Pot” was one of 11 out of 101 Open category paintings that the editor chose to focus on for her review of the show. And she generously devoted a full page to it, (52)! This is the key fine art magazine serving pastel artists and collectors worldwide, so Karen is humbled and honored to have her work in the company of luminaries in the medium. This radiant artwork has already gone into a lovely collection, but there are other pastels of Karen’s available.
