Longtime subscriber to Ballet West, Karen Horne was thrilled to receive the dream assignment of creating artwork for The Nutcracker’s Diamond (60th) Anniversary. Horne is known for her lively paintings of the performing arts – including ballet dancers. Horne’s sparkling pastel painting of the Snow Queen will be featured on the commemorative Nutcracker playbill and other merchandise, and on display in the theatre lobby as an opportunity draw through the run of the Nutcracker Dec. 10 – 27th.
